listening to the ramones today. it's perfect for just getting stuff done. and it's funny that i like them, but it also seems normal. (my favourite song is sheena is a punk rocker - with the surf rock influence) they make me think of when i was sixteen and met some central cal guys in mexico. one of their friends showed up a little later and i said, "who's the joey ramone look alike?" they also remind me of sonic youth's tour-doc the year that punk broke. (hey joey! joey...?)
anyway, the point is...the song "i wanna be sedated" is perfect for how i feel at work this week. in two days i'm going to visit some friends and family in LA and the break from everyday mundane work is comforting.
